Not really, it did spring the new idea, so you're essentially the innovator while everyone steals from you
But in all honesty your idea will still be there, and does have a chance, just some of the more senior members understand that if there's an idea where PR loses money, it's probably not gonna happen. Not every idea can be taken and I've had plenty shot down, it happens to the best of us.
