It's that time of year again! Monsters, ghosts, gore, and scares all around! Time to share your favorite spine-chilling flick! Here's a few that i would recommend. I love horror!  Grin summaries taken from imbd because i'm too lazy to write my own and it's 1:00 in the morning here Tongue

HELLRAISER

Clive Barker's feature directing debut graphically depicts the tale of a man and wife who move into an old house and discover a hideous creature - the man's half-brother, who is also the woman's former lover - hiding upstairs. Having lost his earthly body to a trio of S&M demons, the Cenobites, he is brought back into existence by a drop of blood on the floor. He soon forces his former mistress to bring him his necessary human sacrifices to complete his body... but the Cenobites won't be happy about this.

If you like Hellraiser 1, check out 2 and 3 too, they're both great as well

THE THING

An American scientific expedition to the frozen wastes of the Antarctic is interrupted by a group of seemingly mad Norwegians pursuing and shooting a dog. The helicopter pursuing the dog crashes leaving no explanation for the chase. During the night, the dog mutates and attacks other dogs in the cage and members of the team that investigate. The team soon realises that an alien life-form with the ability to take over other bodies is on the loose and they don't know who may already have been taken over.

HOBO WITH A SHOTGUN

A vigilante homeless man pulls into a new city and finds himself trapped in urban chaos, a city where crime rules and where the city's crime boss reigns. Seeing an urban landscape filled with armed robbers, corrupt cops, abused prostitutes and even a pedophile Santa, the Hobo goes about bringing justice to the city the best way he knows how - with a 20-gauge shotgun. Mayhem ensues when he tries to make things better for the future generation. Street justice will indeed prevail.

This movie is too awesome for words....a must see!

now it's your turn! share your favorite horror films and scare the crap outta the other forum members!  Wink

Jeeper's Creepers ain't scary though. When I was young, I thought it was scary, but I watched the 2nd movie and it was really stupid.

I recommend EVERYONE to read the plot of A Serbian Film on Wikipedia. But don't watch the movie. You'll see what I mean...
